Electrolyte Testing
Our new ion chromatography instrumentation allows ARL to test for electrolytes in solutions (i.e. simple intravenous (IV) solutions to complex total parenteral nutrition (TPN) formulas and cardioplegic solutions). ARL can analyze these preparations for cationic and anionic species and provide accurate quantitation down to parts per billion (ppb) levels for most analytes. Infused solutions require a proper electrolyte balance that is crucial to patient safety.
